Laboratory specializing in composites

Based in Bouguenais, the Cetim laboratory is the first independent laboratory in Europe to be Nadcap accredited for composite testing. It offers an integrated service combining test specimen preparation, mechanical testing, physical-chemical and micrographic analysis, and aging tests for the aerospace, automotive, energy, and mechanical engineering industries.

As part of its continuous improvement strategy, the laboratory has launched an ambitious MES project aimed at modernizing the management of production activities. This system enables real-time monitoring of quantities produced, scrap, operator times, and machine downtime, providing greater visibility into performance. It frees teams from time-consuming administrative tasks and allows them to focus on higher value-added activities.

MES also facilitates scheduling by connecting directly to the workshop and anticipating the load on critical equipment. Work instructions and documentation are now accessible directly at the workstation, reinforcing the rigor and fluidity of operations.

This project promotes collaboration between departments and supports a collective drive for industrial excellence.
