An MES Project at the Heart of Industrial Transformation

As part of its industrial modernization strategy, the LEMO Group has launched an ambitious MES project aimed at enhancing visibility into its production operations, ensuring the reliability of shop-floor data, and improving the flow of information between the production floors and management systems.

The project arose from a strong need for reliable, real-time, shared information to better manage industrial activities, improve the traceability of operations, and support continuous improvement initiatives. In a context where customer and regulatory requirements are particularly stringent, the digitization of production floors emerged as a key driver for securing processes and strengthening operational control.

The decision to choose Aquiweb was based on several criteria:

• Its ability to cover all MES requirements
• Its modular approach
• Its integration capabilities with the existing information system
• Its ability to support the gradual evolution of industrial practices.

The project was also designed with large-scale deployment in mind, as evidenced by the recent increase in the number of Manager licenses within the group.

At Astrée MES Day 2026, LEMO will review the key stages of this project, the challenges encountered, the decisions made regarding ERP/MES integration, and the lessons learned from this digital transformation.
